Express Courier d.o.o., ASC for UPS in BiH, led by Executive Director Nihad Gračić, attended the conference titled "Standardization and Quality in Postal Services" organized by the Agency for Postal Services of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event, held in collaboration with the German organization Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and in partnership with the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, took place in Sarajevo on September 12, 2024.

The conference brought together various stakeholders from Bosnia and Herzegovina's postal market, as well as representatives of postal regulators from neighboring countries. Several projects were presented, along with two panel discussions.

Key topics included quality in postal services, the experiences and challenges faced by operators, and market demands. The importance of standardization was emphasized as a critical factor in ensuring consistent and high-quality customer experiences. One of the proposed conclusions was to launch an initiative to establish a Technical Committee for the postal sector within the Institute for Standardization of BiH.

Given the highly dynamic and continuously growing postal market, it was concluded that changes to the regulatory framework need to be more agile, aligning with technological advancements, innovations, and the market's developmental needs.

Among other recommendations, the formation of a development center under the regulator was proposed, aimed at enhancing and advancing the market.
